A Little Bag Of Tricks

A friend (Aunt LeighAnn) of a friend (Tammy Goforth) introduced me to an ebook about trick photography about a month ago....Trick Photography and Special Effects by Evan Sharboneau.  I have been debating and debating if I should spend the money or not. So tonight before it went off sale, I bit the bullet and bought it. I have been sitting here for over an hour just reading and looking at some pretty awesome things that I want to try.

This is my first attempt at this shot.  I know that I have a ways to go to tweak it to get it just right, but I think it looks pretty awesome,  I am patting myself on the back.  So just wait until I really get into this whole process.

I thought this would be a fun one. Does it look like light bulb magic to you? Again, still tweaking.

SOOCSunday...Trillium

We went hiking over the weekend, sorta the last hurrah before school starts again tomorrow morning bright and early.  The weather could not have been better.  Cool, a little breeze and warm sunshine.

I think the flowers were feeling it too.  The Solomon's Seal were going crazy.  There were May Apples up and spreading on the floor of the forest.  I almost stepped on the first trillium that I saw.  I was so excited to see it. And then to be able impress my hiking buddies with the fact that I knew what the flower was.  I tried to dig just one up to bring home to hopefully transplant to grow under our big oak tree.

Not too awful much going on just yet  The biggest difference seems t be the sunshine.  We just went to the Central Ohio Home and Garden Show in Columbus, OH and I can tell you that my mind is racing and my fingers are itching to get out in the dirt!

We have a new stool in the kitchen so the yahoos can get up to the sink all by themselves...trying to save my back.  They love it and think they are really big stuff.  I think the droplets are pretty cool!

The flower bed really doesn't look too much different.  But I can tell you that on the first day of February it was 60 degrees and beautiful!  I am wondering if we are even going to have a winter and just slowly go into spring...we have daffodils that are up 4 inches...or are we going to have winter until May.
