Will We Ever See Green?

. Tuesday, March 1, 2011 .

Not too much going on plant wise yet.  I should take that back...there are already weeds coming up!  We grow the best weeds.  Last fall I planted a variety of daffodil bulbs around the edges of these raised beds.  Last year they were filled with dahlias and gladiolas.  Haven't really come up with a plan yet...but they will be filled with some kind of cutting flowers.  You know that we have a wedding rehearsal dinner planned for the backyard in June and we need all the color and cutting flowers that we can get.

I can hardly wait to see how all the other participants photos are looking.  Join me as I go on a walk on the wild side.  Just click here and be transported to Murrieta365.  Better yet, come join us!

  1. It looks as if you snow is gone, can Spring be far behind? Can't wait until next month's edition.

  3. Those bulbs should be popping up soon. The only life I see coming up out of the ground is my sedum...go figure.

  6. Well, if the weeds are growing, it won't be long before everything else starts! I can hardly wait to see what colors you put in there.

  8. I noted that the weeds are coming at my house when I was outside today.

I'm 10 days late in my post -- hope to be on time in April.
