 I dusted my big girl camera off and tried to catch some hummingbirds doing what they do best...eat.I learned a lot of things...It takes patience.A lot of it.You need to have the lighting just right.The setting on your camera should be right.They are fast little buggers.And you need to take lots and lots of shots to get a few good one

Camera Day With Alaire

 Today was a stay-at-home day for some of us.  Trevor and Ellis went mountain biking, Cassie and Mark went to the grocery store, and Alaire and I went on a little hike down the road with our cameras.Alaire has inherited my Dad's Sony which still had pics that he had taken.We have seen these beautiful Spicebush swallowtails.This is what they look like first.We had lots of fun.
